I MET HUGH GRANT TWO DAYS AGO!!!!

it. was . AMAZING!!!!!!!!

I'm seriously STILL naturally high from that night...and i know its pathetic but since meeting him i've have a newfound love for Hugh Grant, Hellooo favourite actor!

Okay, so the whole day was tons fun. Ali, Bec, Moni and I caught like 4 different transports to get to DFO and shopped there until 3pm when we went all the way back to Wynyard. We were sitting at Starbucks because Bec wouldnt shut up and were just lazing about on the couches flicking through MX when Ali read that Hugh Grant would be at event cinemas at 5pm. For around 15 minutes after that all of us (mainly Ali and I) were getting super hyped up and excited about meeting Hugh Grant! I remember while we were on the train to strathfield we were talking about Wyoming and Did you hear about the Morgans and i said "About a Boy is my favourite movie! i love it!" which is awesome because I didnt even know we were going to see Hugh Grant :D

So yeah we were at starbucks just squealing in excitement!! I can remember our hilarious comments...like Bec saying "I WISH I BOUGHT A COMB", and me and ali wondering if we should change to our newly bought DFO apparel, and us all going "Wish I brought make-up!" We were squealing about the possibility of taking a photo with him or getting an autograph and even just touching and seeing him :D!! "If we get a photo we have to DEVELOP IT IMMEDIATELY and make 1000 copies just incase!!" and "If we get a photo and then break the camera, i will kill myself!" The whole experience was so incredibly fun and exciting before we even got to the red carpet :D!!!

Okay so we walked down George St for around 10 minutes when we found Event Cinemas! The Red Carpet had already been laid out (we got there at around 4.30) and there were tons of people standing around. There wasnt much choice of where to stand because all the front spots were taken so we found a little gap and me and moni pushed to the front of the rope. It was SO LUCKY that we were standing near the gate because after a while this security guard opened the rope and said we could go and fill the barricade RIGHT NEXT TO THE RED CARPET! I think it was around then when we were all rushing and shoving in that Moni, Bec and I got split from Ali.. :(

But seriously I'm not complaining about anything because we were all just soo lucky, like the fact that we went to Wynyard/DFO on the exact day Hugh Grant had come, and that we stayed at Starbucks instead of going someplace else (thank you bec), and how we all got MX, and especially how we miraculously got probably the best spot next to the red carpet!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

So we were jumping up and down at the Red Carpet with our sore feet..god, i was SOOO EXCITED (sorry i've used that word so much) I didnt care about anything else!! Moni and I were videoing on our phones and Bec and Ali were taking photos with their cameras, and we just squealed excitedly waiting for Hugh while random Australian celebs walked down the carpet (i.e. Leo Sayer, Michaela Bana...) Michelle from biggest loser came and Me and Bec were like "MICHELLE, CAN WE TAKE A PHOTO!?" and she turned in our direction but kept on walking and instead of being pissed we were like "oh well, she looked at me!" and "who cares about michelle, HUGH GRANT!!"

After a while of being super super super excited and amazed and happy, at 6.45pm a black car drove past the entrance and HUGH GRANT CAME OUT! At that moment we just got 100000 TIMES MORE EXCITED!!! Even though we were pretty far from where he was (around 50 metres) everyone was squealing and swooning over Hugh Grant (he's still so cute even at 49), and even though it took a seriously long time for him to come (that is not a complaint!) we just kept on doing the squealing and jumping and swooning and just being seriously happy and excited :D:D:D When he came to us it was SO AMAZING!!!!!! Bec shook his hand and then i shook it twice (:D) and then Moni and OMG it was so amazing i'll have write it slow motion in tons of detail:

Us: Hugh! Can we take a photo?

Hugh: Sure

Bec: (aimlessly looking for someone to take the photo)

Hugh: Here i'll do it

Us: okay! :D

Bec: You were great in About a Boy!

Me: I LOVE that movie!

Hugh: Thank you

...

And then we just stood their completely overwhelmed and on a Natural High and Happy and excited and AHH.. IT WAS SOOOO AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

after that, we said bye to Ali (hugs all round!) and Bec, Moni and I went to this Japanese restaurant Moni knew. We were just bouncing and talking about how great it was and how much we loved hugh grant the whole way and we had to wait to get in so we went to the giant book store next to place and sat down and rubbed our hands that hugh grant had touched on our faces etc talked about hugh grant some more :):):). When we got into the restaurant we ordered our food in amateur japanese which was fun, and the food was pretty good :) It was such a perfect way to end a perfect day! Having dinner after the premiere was great (wish u stayed ali)! And when we finally left, at around 8 o'clock I was still so overwhelmed and high :) It was probably the best day and night out i've everrr had :) Dfo was fun but HUGH GRANT WAS THE BEST!!!

So those of you who have read this far, WOW, i doubt this is interesting to anyone other than me :)
